ENERGY STAR TAX CREDITS FOR HOMEOWNERSNot all ENERGY STAR qualified homes and products qualify for a tax credit. These tax rebates and credits are available for a number of products at the highest efficiency levels, which typically cost much more than standard products. Here is the most current information regarding Energy Star tax credits. If, for whatever reason, you decide not to purchase a product covered by the tax credit, you may still consider purchasing an ENERGY STAR product. ENERGY STAR distinguishes energy efficient products which, although they may cost more to purchase than standard models, will pay you back in lower energy bills within a reasonable amount of time, without a tax credit.View ENERGY STAR criteria for heat pumps and central air.View ENERGY STAR criteria for furnaces and boilers.View ENERGY STAR criteria for whole home gas Tankless Water Heaters.View ENERGY STAR criteria for residential Water HeatersView ENERGY STAR criteria for Heat Pump Water Heater Tax Credits for ConsumersHome Improvements:New Tax Credit for Energy Star Products purchased after December 31, 2010: - Credit Details: 30% of the cost, up to $500 per .5 kW of power capacity
